C ही अनेक भाषांची जननी आहे: Linux आणि Windows सारख्या operating systems आणि असंख्य embedded devices त्यातच लिहिल्या आहेत. प्रत्येक C प्रोग्राम main() function पासून सुरू होतो. printf() स्क्रीनवर print करते आणि त्यासाठी #include <stdio.h> लागते.
